Rutgers track and field athletes Charlee Crawford, Paige Floriea, and Chris Serrao are set to represent Team USA at the 2025 World University Games. The event will take place in Rhine-Ruhr, Germany from July 21 to July 24.
The trio is coming off a successful season where they contributed to a record-setting outdoor campaign for Rutgers. Crawford will compete in the 400-meter and 4×400 relay events. Floriea will participate in the long jump, while Serrao will compete in the 110-meter hurdles.
Earlier this year, Rutgers qualified eight Scarlet Knights for the NCAA Outdoor Championships, setting a school record. Crawford, Floriea, and Serrao each made their debuts at outdoor nationals. Serrao earned Second Team All-American honors, while Crawford and Floriea received Honorable Mention All-American status.
Crawford and Floriea will be the first to compete on Monday, July 21. Serrao’s events are scheduled for Wednesday, July 23.
