Rutgers University announced that its football team will play against No. 23 Illinois on November 1, with kickoff scheduled for noon Eastern Time (11 a.m. local time) on NBC. The Big Ten conference confirmed the game time and broadcast details on Monday.

This matchup marks the end of a period in which Rutgers has played four out of five games away from home. In their previous meeting at Memorial Stadium in 2021, Rutgers defeated Illinois with a score of 20-14.
