Rutgers softball releases fall ball schedule with ten scrimmages

Rutgers University’s softball team will begin its fall ball schedule this weekend, with 10 scrimmages planned for the season. The schedule will conclude with the three-day Scarlet Knight World Series at the end of October.

The first game is scheduled for Sunday, September 28 at Binghamton. The team will then play at Seton Hall on Saturday, October 4.

On Sunday, October 5, Rutgers will participate in the annual College Softball Tournament at Branchburg Park in Newark, New Jersey. During this event, the Scarlet Knights are set to compete against Seton Hall and Villanova.

The fall schedule continues with a doubleheader at Rider on Sunday, October 12. Additional games include a matchup at St. John’s on Saturday, October 18 and a game at Felician on Sunday, October 19.

The final segment of the fall season is the Scarlet Knight World Series, which will take place from October 22 to 24 at home. According to Rutgers Athletics, “Dates and times subject to change. Check the schedule page at ScarletKnights.com for the latest information.”
