Statement by Middlesex County Democratic Chairman Kevin P. McCabe on the SCOTUS Decision to Overturn Roe v Wade:

"Today’s decision represents decades of plotting by the right-wing. It is not just bad for women, it's bad for America. Though the Supreme Court's recent decisions on women's health and guns undoubtedly lead our country down a dark path, New Jersey will always fight back. I am thankful for our Democratic leadership and our Democratic led legislature that took the necessary steps to codify Roe's protections earlier this year. The Freedom of Reproductive Choice Act, signed into law this past January, ensured New Jersey would remain a state that stands with women and ensures they receive the best care possible. Democrats in Middlesex County, and throughout New Jersey, will fight back against this attack on women.”
