Changes in sleeping or eating patterns

Sudden changes in friend circles or preferred activities

Mood swings or personality changes that cannot otherwise be explained

New problems in school or work, such as lack of motivation or poor attendance

Poor hygiene or grooming habits (particularly changes to these)

Preoccupation with substance use, such as planning their day around their next drinkIf you or a loved one are struggling with SUD, help is available. Visit helptool.org for information, guidance, or referral services.
