New Jersey Firefighters Take on NYPD in Charity Hockey Game
The finest are ready to take on the bravest.
On Friday, March 31, NJ Fire Hockey will take on the NYPD in a hockey game with proceeds benefiting Ronald McDonald House of Central & Northern New Jersey, which has a large presence in New Brunswick. Ronald McDonald House provides a true “home away from home” for families of seriously ill children receiving care at medical facilities.
NJ Fire Hockey, a club of about 100 firefighters throughout the state, just celebrated its first anniversary, said City of New Brunswick Fire Department Firefighter Robert Boyle, who runs NJ Fire Hockey.
Throughout the year, the team has helped raise thousands of dollars for a variety of charities through its games. This latest game is taking place at 6:30 p.m. on March 31 at the Richard J. Codey Arena, 560 Northfield Ave. in West Orange. Tickets are $10 for anyone 12 years old and over and $3 for children under 12. Tickets can be purchased here - https://tinyurl.com/4w6w9hxv
