Through legislation being sponsored by Senator Cory Booker, former National Guardsmen and Reservists would be eligible to participate in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program which promotes housing stability among low-income veteran families residing in or transitioning to permanent housing.
